Yesterday after working through the morning, I made myself a healthy fruit salad and cycled to the top of our road . . .
A place is often described as having lots of exciting things on their doorstep – well, yesterday unbelievably we had the Olympic torch right on ours.
I got so close that it almost singed my hair and boy did people get excited.
Although the parade didn’t take very long at all, the whole neighborhood gathered to dance around the street and take photographs as police helicopters hovered above.
Some found the most unusual places to sit to get a better view while some brought picnics and other liquid refreshments to mark the occasion.

I can understand the excitement!! =)))
